If That Happens 要是…就
“If the shop is closed, we’ll try the one across the street.” 要是……就…… puts a possible situation first, then gives the response. It’s a conversational way to map out what you’ll do next.
要是我很有钱的话，我就会到处去旅游。
yàoshi wǒ hěn yǒuqián dehuà， wǒ jiù huì dàochù qù lǚyóu。
If I were rich, I would travel everywhere.
“我明天再做。” “这话你昨天就说过了！”
