A Place That’s Both Quiet and Cozy 又…又
Your friend asks about a little café you found. You liked that it was quiet and cozy, so you can give both reasons the same weight with 又……又……. It also works when one person does two things at once.
这家咖啡馆又安静又舒服。
zhè jiā kāfēiguǎn yòu ānjìng yòu shūfu.
This café is both quiet and comfortable.
她又会做饭，又会开车。
tā yòu huì zuò fàn, yòu huì kāi chē.
She can both cook and drive.
周末我们又看电影又吃火锅。
zhōumò wǒmen yòu kàn diànyǐng yòu chī huǒguō.
At the weekend, we watched a movie and ate hotpot.
孩子又哭又笑，大家都不知道怎么办。
háizi yòu kū yòu xiào, dàjiā dōu bù zhīdào zěnme bàn.
The child was laughing and crying, and no one knew what to do.
