Run Well, Been There, Still Waiting例 · 我没有读过他的小说

Your friend runs fast, has visited Beijing before, and leaves the door open. 得 describes how an action goes, 过 looks back on an experience, and 着 keeps a state in view. They sit in different places around the verb, so one example at a time makes their jobs easier to tell apart.
