The Story Around It and Whether It Happens ままに・にまつわる・か否か
Describe the circumstances surrounding an event, then show how a condition or situation shapes what follows. The expressions here describe how circumstances shape an event: some state an essential premise, while others limit or frame what is possible. Identify the condition first, then read the main clause as its result.

あっての says the second thing depends on the first for its existence or success. It expresses a stronger connection than simply saying the first thing helped.
Use the context to identify the writer’s intention.
When reading a policy statement, underline the premise and circle the action or result that depends on it.
In Real Life
In project planning, あっての can credit the people or resources a success depends on. It is a natural way to acknowledge indispensable support in a formal thank-you.
Hint · 힌트
Underline the prerequisite first. Ask whether the following clause could still happen without it; あっての usually says it could not.
