That’s Why 以至于
雪下了一整夜，以至于早上道路都封了. 以至于 introduces an outcome, often an extreme or unintended one. 之所以……是因为…… turns the explanation around: name the result first, then give its cause.
我的手指冻僵了，以至于无法弹钢琴了。
wǒ de shǒuzhǐ dòngjiāng le， yǐzhìyú wúfǎ tán gāngqín le。
My fingers are so numb with cold that I can't play the piano.
他们之所以没有游泳，就因为天气很冷。
tāmen zhīsuǒyǐ méiyǒu yóuyǒng， jiù yīnwèi tiānqì hěn lěng。
They didn't swim because it was cold.
