Extremely 不得了
“If you say you’re leaving, just go.” 说走就走 makes the action feel immediate. 有A有B pairs two things someone has or offers, while 不得了 turns the dial up on an intense or extraordinary description.
我把他叫做「矮子」,他就气得不得了。
wǒ bǎ tā jiàozuò 「 ǎizi 」, tā jiù qì de bùdéliǎo。
I called him “Shorty,” and he got extremely angry.
要是我说“不”呢?
yàoshi wǒ shuō “bù” ne?
And what if I say no?
“我明天再做。” “这话你昨天就说过了!”
“wǒ míngtiān zài zuò。” “zhè huà nǐ zuótiān jiù shuō guò le!”
“I’ll do it again tomorrow.” “You said that just yesterday!”
你们有吗?
nǐmen yǒu ma?
Do you have it?
