Because It Happened 因为…所以
You can state a reason and result in sequence without a linker, or make the relationship explicit with 因为……所以……. Because the words already mark the connection, you usually do not need to add another cause or result phrase.
我是因为太忙，所以才没有回信给你的。
wǒ shì yīnwèi tài máng， suǒyǐ cái méiyǒu huíxìn gěi nǐ de。
I was too busy, so I didn’t write back to you.
今天下雨了，所以我没去学校。
jīntiān xiàyǔ le， suǒyǐ wǒ méi qù xuéxiào。
It rained today, so I didn’t go to school.
