Ask for the Missing Part
Choose the question word for the information you need: 누구 or 누가 for a person, 어디 for a place, 언제 for time, 무엇 or 뭐 for a thing, 왜 for a reason, and 어떻게 for a method or state. 얼마 asks a price or amount; 몇 comes before a counting noun, and 얼마나 asks a degree or extent. Put the question word where the answer would go: 어디에서 만나요? → 카페에서 만나요.
