Be Eager To 巴不得
The weekend is nearly here: 巴不得周末马上到来 (“I can’t wait for the weekend”). 巴不得 expresses an eager wish; 别提了 shuts a topic down with “don’t even mention it,” while 除此之外 adds “apart from that.” The surrounding conversation gives each phrase its tone.
我巴不得现在就回家。

I cannot wait to go home now.
