A Book, a Meal, a Trip 本
At the restaurant, you order one dish, two skewers, and a drop of chili oil. Later, a singer performs a set and you take a trip home. Chinese measure words count very different kinds of units—food, pairs, streams, episodes, and journeys—so learn the counter with the thing it measures.
