Prices, Dates, and Times 元
At a market, you ask the price; later, you write the date in your calendar and arrange a meeting time. Chinese prices put the number before the currency unit, dates run from year to month to day, and clock time puts 点 after the hour. Once you know that order, the numbers do most of the work.
