So Good! 太…了

The concert ends and your friend asks how it was. 太好了! says “That was great!”; 真漂亮! turns the spotlight on how beautiful something is. Chinese often builds an exclamation from an ordinary sentence, then lets words like 太 or 真 carry the extra feeling.

Examples

太好了!
Tài hǎo le!
That’s great!
这里真漂亮!
Zhèlǐ zhēn piàoliang!
It’s really beautiful here!
今天太冷了!
Jīntiān tài lěng le!
It’s so cold today!
Hint · 힌트
太 can mean “too” or an emphatic “so,” depending on context. The sentence and situation make the intended meaning clear.
