What Kind Is It, and What Does It Count As? 型・となっている・に当たる・関係がある

XはYで有名 means “X is famous for Y.” Add 的 to many nouns to form an adjective meaning “-like” or “-al,” as in 具体的. The み ending turns some adjectives into nouns for a felt quality or degree, such as 深み “depth” from 深い.

These forms are useful in descriptions and reports: 型 names a type or model, となっている describes an established arrangement or current state, に当たる gives an equivalent or corresponding amount, and 関係がある connects two subjects.

Noun + 型 means “type / model / format,” as in 対話型授業, “discussion-based class.” となっている often describes a rule, structure, or state that has been set up: 予約制となっている, “is set up as reservation-only.” It sounds more formal than simply saying です.

に当たる identifies an equivalent, corresponding item, or amount. It often appears in explanations that convert a number into something easier to understand.

When drawing a conclusion from the information at hand, [clause] + と言[い]える means “it can be said that…” or “it is fair to say…” It presents an assessment as a reasonable conclusion, rather than an absolute fact.

関係がある means that a connection exists between two things. Add 深い or 強い to describe a close connection; use 関係がない for “unrelated.”

For a stronger effect, 左右[さゆう]する means “to influence / determine,” especially when a factor has a major effect on an outcome: 睡眠時間が集中力を左右する, “sleep duration affects concentration.”

In Real Life
These expressions suit explanations, instructions, and reports: a service is reservation-only, a cost corresponds to part of a salary, or one factor is related to another. They help describe how things are organized without making the sentence sound like a personal opinion.
Hint · 힌트
型 labels a category; となっている states an arrangement; に当たる equates or maps one thing to another; と言える gives a measured conclusion; 関係がある states a connection; 左右する highlights a strong influence. Choose the form based on the job you need.
